Yunnan Baiyao, 4g Powder

Yunnan Baiyao was introduced to the West during the Vietnam War when American soldiers noticed Vietcong members wearing vials of the powder around their necks; they then discovered that the powder was used topically to stop the bleeding from bullet and knife wounds, thereby preventing them from bleeding out before getting medical attention.

It was then dubbed “the white medicine of Yunnan”. Many other such anecdotes exist, such as the story of the army commander Wu Xuexian who was saved from almost certain leg amputation in the 1940s after being treated with this wondrous herbal medicine.

Scientific studies have been conducted which produced some interesting and positive findings. One such study proved that Yunnan Baiyao reduces the clotting time of blood by 33% to 55% in both humans and animals.

Yunnan Baiyao Ingredients

The complete formula and ingredients are a great family mystery, with the only written copy said to be locked up in a safe. It is so guarded in fact, that the ingredients are mixed separately by thirteen different teams, none of which are aware of each others’ processes.

However, it is well known that the two main ingredients are Sanqi and Rhizoma Dioscoreae. Sanqi are the roots of Tienchi ginseng, or panax Notoginseng; this particular species type is used because it contains the highest concentration of homeostatic qualities.

Rhizoma Dioscoreae is an herb more commonly known as Chinese yam. Over twenty other compounds are used in the ingredients, some of which are other natural astringents which aid in constricting the body tissues so that the wound can heal.

Yunnan Baiyao Uses

The nickname of “miracle drug” certainly is not unjustified, as this is used in various forms to treat numerous conditions. Contrary to conventional pain medications, Yunnan Baiyao does not work by numbing the pain receptors in the brain. Rather, it facilitates blood circulation, thereby sending oxygen to the injured area.

Other usages include the treatment of swelling and inflammation (especially in the throat), stasis and gynecological blood stasis, stomach aches and gastric ulcers, infections, hot or oozing sores (it helps to flush out the toxins), stiffness, rashes (possibly from Poison Ivy or poison Oak), joint and bone pain, and stress. It has even been incorporated into certain toothpastes in order to prevent bleeding gums. We provide shipping to Queensland, Victoria, Norfolk Island, New South Wales, Perth, Hobart, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Gold Coast–Tweed Heads, Newcastle–Maitland, Wollongong, Geelong, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin, Toowoomba, Ballarat, Bendigo, Launceston, Albury–Wodonga, Sydney, Melbourne, America, Los Angeles, NYC, Brazil, Chile, France, United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, South Africa and other places. Yunnan Baiyao Uses in Horses

This herbal remedy is particularly used to prevent or treat EIPH (Exercise Induced Pulmonary Hemorrhage) in racehorses. This is a condition which leads to blood filling the airways of the lungs after intense strenuous activity. In order to treat or prevent this from happening to your horse simply follow these steps:

• On the day before the race, give the horse one bottle of powder in the morning and one in the evening, but save the red pills for later.

• Give the horse a third bottle of powder on the morning of race day, again, save the red/emergency pill.

• Give the horse a fourth and final dose at the Lasix injection just before the race starts, and then also give him all four red pills.

For severe external wounds the powder can also be rubbed on the area in a paste form and then bandaged tightly to stop the blood and start healing the wound.Horses are large animals so you can be certain that you will need to use more powder on their wounds than you would for a person. We therefore recommend that you save some money by buying in bulk, especially when considering that you will need four bottles per horse per race.

Yunnan Baiyao powder is very widely used within China and has been used for over 100 years now. The anecdotal evidence for its positive effects is clearly undeniable, as are the testimonies of numerous physicians and veterinarians.

This inexpensive, harmless, and natural medicine has proved its efficiency in stopping bleeding caused both by injuries and ailments and is extremely useful to have around in your home, in your car, in your workplace, and even on your person so that you are prepared for emergency situations. The powder is widely used by horse agistments, spelling, stables, equine association, pony stud book, thoroughbred, farriers, harness racing, horse racing clubs, horse trainers, horse riding schools and centres, horse breeders, horse health service industry such as Acupuncture, Chiropractors & Phyiotherapists, Equine Dentists, Equine Dental Equipments, Equine Nutritionist, Feed Supplies, Health Products, Hospitals, Laboratories, Masseurs, Natural Health Therapies, Veterinary etc.
